About Us
The SAGE Space is a dedicated not-for-profit, youth-led organization created by and for neurodivergent individuals, with a special focus on supporting marginalized groups, including LBQ (lesbian, bisexual, and queer) women. We advocate for inclusive systems that embrace diverse cognitive experiences across Nigeria. Our work centers on bridging wellness education gaps and increasing access to holistic wellness services, particularly for those facing challenges related to cognitive neurodivergence and mental health.
At SAGE Space, we recognize the unique and intersecting challenges faced by LBQ women and other neurodivergent individuals in a society that often assumes neurotypicality as the norm. Our mission is to foster a supportive, inclusive environment where every individual, especially those from marginalized backgrounds—feels seen, understood, and empowered to thrive.
Through our work, we are building a community where neurodivergent individuals, including LBQ women, are valued, supported, and equipped with the resources needed to realize their full potential. Guided by our core values of Empathy, Inclusion, and Equity, we strive to create systems and environments that truly embrace cognitive diversity. At SAGE Space, we believe that making room for every identity and experience fosters a more compassionate, balanced, and inclusive society for all.
